Jonathan Dimbleby and the Radio 4 ‘Any Questions’ team are in town for a live recording of the popular topical debate show. The panel includes Lord Haskins, who is in great form, and Brian Sewell, with his sharp yet humorous comments on the stories of the day. Pic above by Nic Cooper.

The official opening of the Garden City Greenway and our first large scale event of the Centenary. Local singer turned TV gardener, Kim Wilde unveils a specially engraved  commemorative stone with Stuart Kkenny at the opening event.The Country Fair at Standalone on the Bank Holiday attracts over 10,000 visitors. North Hertfordshire Leisure Centre turns itself into a concert hall for a sell-out performance of Elgar’s ‘The Dream of Gerontius’. There’s a full house too.
